Kitty, Daisy and Lewis
Blind Tiger Touring is pleased to announce the return of Kitty Daisy & Lewis to New Zealand shores this summer.
The talented siblings, known for their authentic take on vintage country and first-generation rhythm and blues, will play at Black Barn in Hawkes Bay on February 9, San Fran in Wellington on February 10 and the Powerstation in Auckland on February 11 in support of their new album, Superscope.
“Kitty, Daisy and Lewis have turned out a vibrant, energy-filled fourth album showcasing their modern take on blues, rock ‘n’ roll and soul, an old-time sound from a millennial perspective.” - NZ Herald
“Superscope is an addictive album, shooting clean and pure into your veins. Add this to your party mix and just try to keep your hips from shaking.” - Soundblab
The trio will be joined on stage by their father Graeme Durham, new bassist Popcorn, and legendary trumpeter Eddie ‘Tan Tan’ Thornton.
No strangers to New Zealand, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis have built up a strong Kiwi fanbase over the last eight years, wowing audiences with their vibrant live performances and tight musicianship.
Fans can expect to hear some of the band’s most popular tunes, such as ‘Going Up The Country’ and ‘Baby Bye Bye’ alongside new material from Superscope.
