Poututu Bridge on Poututu Road is due for full replacement and work is programmed to commence on Monday 2nd September with site establishment, preparation and installation of temporary pedestrian walkway bridge for residents during the works. Monday 9th September the road will be closed, and work will commence with the removal of the old bridge. The new bridge will then be installed. The bridge will be closed for up to 3 weeks to allow new guardrails and approaches to be re-sealed.
