Stretch - Bury All Horses Tour

Stretch - Bury All Horses Tour

“One hard working troubadour, a bit Springsteen, even a bit Waits, with wit, sweat and heartfelt songs.” - Sitting Room Sessions

From dark-hearted ballads to roof-raising choruses with a boot stomping backbeat, it’s a New Zealand folk/rock landscape, somewhere between Highway 61 Revisited and State Highway 2.

The past year has seen no less than four national tours to rave reviews, earning a place on the country’s best stages. On the strength of reputation alone, he opened for American songwriting legend Jeff Tweedy of Wilco, for his only New Zealand show!

Now touring his stunning debut solo album, ‘Bury All Horses’ he brings an intensity to every show, a voice that can’t help being soulful, and a passion to connect with every listener. Stretch is making fans the old fashioned way, one true music lover at a time.

“One cool dude, that guy.” - Joe Strummer

With special guests for this show!

Ariana: Another emerging talent from Hawkes Bay, singer-songwriter Ariana moves between intimate tales from the heart and open voiced melodies with pure grace and grit.

Knuckles: Fresh from seducing audiences on the Tattletale Saints summer tour, Knuckles brings his mesmerising folk blues to the night.
