What do you live for? - Colour Fun Run: SOLD OUT

What do you live for? - Colour Fun Run: SOLD OUT

Proudly Brought to you by Napier & Hastings Youth Councils and Zeal Hawke's Bay.

What do you live for? Colour Fun-Run.

Tickets?
You can purchase your tickets online. There are only 400 tickets available.

Where?
The start and finish line will be at the Napier Sound Shell. (it is a looped 5km track).

Time?
All racers must be at the race briefing at 11.45am.

Do I need to be a wicked runner to do this? No way team. This is an event for everyone, you can sprint, run or walk if you want.

What is included with my registration?
Every runner will receive a race pack with a headband, drink, and a race number. There will be a limited amount of Event T-Shirts available to purchase for $15 (cash only).

Is this event run by a charity or a non-profit organization?
The “What do you live for - Colour Fun Run” is brought to you by Napier Youth Council, Hastings Youth Council and Zeal Education Trust (zeal.nz) Proceeds from the event will go to “Live for Tomorrow” – Youth Suicide Intervention.

What is the inspiration behind What do you live for - Colour Run?
We know that in New Zealand we have one of the worst Youth suicide rates and us, as a group of young people, want to run a creative event that makes young people think about what it is they live for.

Can children participate?
Children under 12 are free but must be accompanied by 1 paying adult. (1:1 ratio) Bear in mind you will be the coolest mums/dads on the planet. 13 years and above are considered an adult ticket.

Can my pet run with me?
For the safety, we do not allow animals on the course.

How does the colour part work?
Everyone comes dressed in white at the starting line, finishing plastered in colour. A larger than life fun run walk is designed with “Colour Stations” dotted throughout the course to make sure look amazing when you finish.

Is the run safe?
The health and safety of our participants is super important to us! Zeal is a professional youth organization with 15+ years of event management with highly vetted policies and processes, your safety is our priority.

Will the colour ruin clothes or shoes?
The colour does mostly wash out after the event. We suggest wearing items that you wouldn’t mind getting colourful.

Can spectators watch the race?
Absolutely, they can party at the end with you – however, they will not be able to run the race, only registered contestants.

Is run timed?
The run/walk is 5k and is not a timed event. Take your time have fun walking running with your mates.

What happens if there is bad weather?
Again health and safety are super important for us, this event will go ahead with a little rain, but all updates will be made on the day of the event via social media.
