Recognised for strengthening the community

JC

Supporting and helping to strengthen the Wairoa community was a major factor behind JC Electronics receiving a recent outstanding achievement award.

Jase Clough (pictured) of J C Electronics was stoked to win the second-highest award from the Jaycar group, a leading Australian and New Zealand electronics retail company.

This month, Jase attended the Jaycar conference in Australia and described the win as being for the whole Wairoa community.

“We are only a small shop in the scheme of things, with around 240 members in the Jaycar reselling group, and many with a lot bigger volume. We have always punched above our weight and met our targets. On top of that, this award recognised how we have helped others, particularly through the two floods and the support that we have been able to show; there is a lot of mana in this award.”

JC Electronics, situated in central Marine Parade, features appliances, an instrument and musical range, and electronics technology ranging from gadgets to camping and outdoor products and everything in between.

Jase says technology has been going through a bit of a lull since COVID-19, but it's about to be rebooted with a whole new range of next-generation technology about to be released.

“There is a lot of new gear and technology, and we look forward to showcasing the new range.”

Jase extends a big thank you to everyone who has supported him and helped make the award possible.
