Advance voting underway in Wairoa: Here are the locations

Elections Wairoa

Advance voting for the 2017 Elections is now open at the WAIROA WAR MEMORIAL HALL, at 93 Queen Street.

This means that if you can't vote next SATURDAY 23 SEPTEMBER, you can make an advance vote at the Wairoa War Memorial Hall.

Elections Wairoa

Advance voting will take place today (Thursday 14 September) from 9am to 6pm and tomorrow (Friday 15 September) from 9am to 4pm.

Advance voting will also take place next week from MONDAY 18 SEPTEMBER to THURSDAY 21 SEPTEMBER, 9am to 6pm; and on FRIDAY 22 SEPTEMBER from 9am to 4pm.

There will be three voting places in Wairoa on election day, SATURDAY 23 SEPTEMBER. All election day voting places are open from 9am to 7pm. The election day voting places are located at:

• Wairoa College, 20 Lucknow Street
• Wairoa War Memorial Hall, 93 Queen Street
• Taihoa Marae, 174 State Highway 2 North

Here are a few key messages that you may want to consider:

• If it’s easier, you can vote in advance.
• You can enrol and vote at the same time at any advance voting place. You can’t enrol on election day.
• Take your EasyVote card when you go to vote. You can still vote without it, but it will make voting easier and quicker.
