Council would like to thank each and every one of you who submitted your feedback around our 10-year plan.
We wanted to hear from you about what made Wairoa a great place to live, work and play, and what we could do to make things better.
We reached out to many of you during our face-to-face engagement phase of our 10-year plan consultation, which involved Council staff getting out and around the district to gather feedback.
Many of you highlighted the need for competition in the retail supermarket sector, CBD and township enhancements, better infrastructure services like roads and sewerage systems and a concentrated effort on cleaning up our rivers.
All these things will be taken into consideration and a final report will be delivered in the new year.
