PLAN TO 'STOP' UNFORMED AND UNNAMED LEGAL ROAD - BLUE BAY, OPOUTAMA

Wairoa District Council, pursuant to Section 342 of the Local Government Act 1974, and the 10th Schedule thereof, proposes to 'stop' a 5.6019ha portion of unformed legal road in Blue Bay, Opoutama.

This land is not required for roading purposes. This road, described in the schedule below, is situated in Blue Bay, Opoutama.

Once this area of road is stopped, Section 1 will be vested as a Local Purpose (Recreation) Reserve, and continued to be managed by Council. This will facilitate protection and enhancement of the recreational space in Opoutama for all members of the community to enjoy. Section 2 will become part of the Marine and Coastal Area.

A copy of the Survey Office plan (SO 521747) defining the road to be stopped is available for inspection from:
· Wairoa District Council office, 97 Queen Street, Wairoa; or
· On the Wairoa District Council website - www.wairoadc.govt.nz.

Objections to this proposal must be lodged in writing with Luke Knight, Property Manager, Wairoa District Council, PO Box 54, Wairoa 4160, Hawke's Bay, or you can drop it off to reception at Coronation Square, 97 Queen
Street, Wairoa 4108.

All objections must be received before 5pm Friday, 28th September 2018
