HBRC notifies wastewater resource consent

Hawke's Bay Regional Council (HBRC) has notified an application for resource consent from Wairoa District Council to undertake activities and discharges associated with the receipt, treatment, storage and general management of wastewater received at the Wairoa Wastewater Treatment Plant.

The application documents including the assessment of environmental effects can be viewed at the offices of the Hawke's Bay Regional Council at 159 Dalton Street, Napier and 46 Freyberg Street, Wairoa during office hours, or on Hawke's Bay Regional Council's website: www.hbrc.govt.nz search #notified.

Submissions close at 5pm on Tuesday 10 September 2019.

Anyone can make a submission on the application by going online to http://hbrc.govt.nz, search #notified and completing the online submission form (Form 13).

Hard copy submission forms can also be obtained from HBRC's reception or upon request.

Online submissions will automatically be copied to the applicant but submitters providing their submissions directly to HBRC must also send a copy to the applicant: Wairoa District Council C/- Lowe Environmental Impact, P O Box 4667, Palmerston North 4442.
