Council wants to hear from you

2023survey web

The Wairoa District Council annual residents’ opinion survey is now open and is your chance to have your say.

Are you satisfied with how the Wairoa District Council makes decisions? Do you have an activity in mind that the Wairoa District Council could focus on to deliver a thriving community? What Council services or facilities have you visited or used in the past year? If you have answers to these questions, then we would really like to hear from you.

The Wairoa District Council is once again running its residents’ and ratepayers’ satisfaction survey to gather feedback on what is done well and where improvements can be made.

Wairoa District Council Chief Executive Kitea Tipuna said receiving open and honest feedback is greatly appreciated and plays a critical role in Council delivering the best possible facilities and services for our community.

“Often, it can be difficult for people to tell us how they feel. All the information provided in the survey is confidential, and your feedback will help shape the future of Wairoa.

“The survey is based on performance targets set for our many services through the Council’s Long-Term and Annual Plan processes.

“The survey is designed to take 5-10 minutes to complete and is open to everyone, other than elected or staff members of the Wairoa District Council and their household members.”

Mr Tipuna said that historically Council surveys have been by telephone. “Last year, we changed our approach by using an online survey and received helpful feedback about Council’s performance and how we deliver our many services and activities.”

To take the survey, please go to https://feedback.askyourteam.com/E6TWxDF or click the link on Council’s website or Facebook page.

The survey is live until Friday, July 14, 2023. We look forward to hearing from you.
