On the second Tuesday of most months Association Française de Hawke's Bay shows a French language film at Focal Point Cinema in Havelock North. Focal Point operates a concession stand where patrons may purchase beverages and snacks. Courtesy AFHB, your admission includes nibbles of "des baguette et des fromages" pre-film, 6:00-6:30, with the film beginning at 6:30.
This pre-show time is a great opportunity to meet and mingle.You can learn more about Association Française de Hawke's Bay on the website. Come along to one film, or many films (with subtitles).
Join our lively group if you wish. We host many activities throughout the year, including an annual French Film Festival (with subtitles). You don't have to speak a word of French so please don't let that hold you back! New members are very welcome. Come out, make new acquaintances and add a bit of ooh la la to your life! Members enjoy reduced pricing at Cine-Club and other events.
