Contractors are starting work on safety improvements around schools in our district. Some of the improvements include new signage and lower speed limits, speed bumps, raised and flush crossings. The speed bumps and raised crossings are not permanently fixed to a road surface so can be removed if they are not performing as they should. Contractors will have traffic management in place during these works but please take care and be aware that there will be changes to the road surface around our schools over the next few weeks.
