Kia ora Wairoa, our flooded whanau need some local help. Are you able to help with dry firewood, heaters, or dehumidifiers? These will all help to start the drying process for flooded homes.
We know that there are whanau who have immediate accommodation needs, and those who will require temporary accommodation as time goes by. We are working on meeting both immediate and long-term needs.
If you can stay with family and friends please do so. If you require emergency accommodation (ie you have nowhere to stay tonight) please come into Council for a welfare assessment.
If you require temporary accommodation services (ie have somewhere to stay right now but will need support in the coming weeks) please lodge a CSR.
