Napier is 150 years old this year and there are several events planned to celebrate this milestone. In support of the 150-year celebrations, the Taradale Business Association is organising a Taste of Taradale Mid-Winter Bustle-era dinner. The dinner will be progressing over two venues starting with a Rosies spiced mulled wine and Hōhepa cheese platters at Rosie 'O Grady's, 246 Gloucester Street, Taradale. Be there in your best vintage dress by 5:30pm. Guests will then walk over to the Taradale Town Hall, 8 Meeanee Road, Taradale, to be seated by 6:15pm. A cash bar will be available.
The dinner programme will be including guest speakers Michael Fowler talking about the history of Taradale and Brent Pilcher talking about Church Road Winery then and now.
