Diwali is a major festival in Indian continent and diaspora. It is the biggest and most awaited event of the year for Hindus.

Diwali is also called Festival of Lights and it symbolises the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance".

Come and spend your Sunday evening and celebrate this beautiful cultural event with the Indian Community and wider Hawkes Bay and learn about a new culture. Bring your picnic mats, outdoor chairs and warm jerseys/ blanket. Enjoy the night with a spectacular stage performances and lots of food to choose from a variety of food stalls.

It will be a great family night to enjoy on Sunday over the Labour Weekend and stay up late.
