Trinity Hill Cellar Door Canvas Night- ft. Port Style Wines!

Trinity Hill Cellar Door Canvas Night- ft. Port Style Wines!

Join us for a 2.5-hour step-by-step painting session from 6pm-8.30pm in the Trinity Hill Cellar Door!

We’d love you to join us this winter season as we enjoy the classic pairing of painting and drinking wine, here at our Cellar Door in the heart of the Gimblett Gravels wine region. This is the second event in our new 'Cellar Door Canvas' series, featuring a Portuguese-style image in honour of our Port Style Wines!

Relax within our impressive Cellar Door, with five-meter-high ceilings and views of the Chardonnay Barrel Hall, whilst you paint your very own masterpiece.

Local Artist Helen Dynes will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting, you will complete your very own work of art.

Enjoy a complimentary glass of our NV Touriga on arrival, and purchase further wines and cheese platters at your leisure.

We are looking forward to hosting you soon!

Artist Info:
Local artist Helen Dynes was born in Ireland and completed her higher education in England, before emigrating with her family to New Zealand in 2003. Helen has had a life-long relationship with art.
Whether it be bespoke commissioned pieces, or full curated exhibitions, Helen is truly an accomplished artist. Her work is held in private collections throughout NZ and overseas. Helen’s painting style is naturalistic and she enjoys expressing the beautiful interplay of light and shadow, working mainly in oil or acrylic on canvas. As well as a successful career in the fine arts, Helen has taught art within the tertiary education space, both in UK and New Zealand, for over 30 years. This Napier-based artist continues her teaching and tutors weekly painting classes at Creative Arts Napier, and offers private tuition by arrangement. Over the years, Helen has enjoyed teaching numerous sell-out painting retreats and workshops around Hawke’s Bay. If you are in the room when Helen is tutoring, you will pick up a gem or two of artistic knowledge.
